Engineering has the responsibility of marrying the physical design of a facility with the design team's security system equipment configuration. The engineering department will study the type and placement of cameras, card readers, turnstiles, video analytics, and any other equipment and software involved in your electronic security system design. The engineers also determine and produce wiring diagrams and cabling runs, and they address the placement of cameras and readers, as well as other vital system details.

Vision has a full-time, highly skilled electrical engineer/autocad professional on staff who is responsible for providing planned drawings, riser diagrams and details, as well as an as-built set in both electronic and print form upon completion. These detailed facility drawings are provided to the Vision Security Technologies client.

Our engineering department also features our IT personnel. We provide complete network installations and maintenance, database conversions, software installations, and upgrades. We have Cisco and Microsoft certifications.
